Zane K. Sullivan
Zane Sullivan was born in Glendive, Montana. He was admitted to practice in Montana and the U.S. District Court District of Montana (1973). Zane is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Memberships and Activities
Montana State Bar, Montana Association of Realtors; National Association of Realtors; California Association of Realtors; Former Member American Kennel Club. Zane and his wife of 56 years enjoying showing dogs and have won AKC shows including one at Westminster. Zane also enjoys flying and has had a private pilot license.
Zane is extremely active and well known in the real estate community. Zane was President and General Counsel of five title insurance offices in Montana. Later he served as President of Insured Titles in Missoula, where he supervised over 10,000 real estate transactions. A significant portion of Zane’s practice is devoted to the representation of REALTOR® Boards and Associations relative to the preparation of real estate practice forms, licensing laws, rules and regulations.
Zane is a designated instructor for the National Association of REALTORS®, for the Montana Association of REALTORS®, and the Graduate REALTOR® Institute. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Montana School of Law, Montana Bar Association and the Montana Land Title Association. In addition to being an attorney, Zane is a REALTOR® and holds real estate licenses in California and Montana.
Zane has recently received recognition by the members of the Montana Association of Realtors as the 2016 recipient of the Sharon Wilson Meritorious Service Award. This award is presented to an individual in recognition of dedication and service to the members of the Association. Zane has a long history of providing education programs emphasizing real estate law to the members of the Association.
